Terry Goodman - Silver Medal
Mr. Terry Goodman received the Society’s Silver Medal in recognition of his actions in June 2007 while working in Iraq when he rescued a colleague from a stricken vehicle despite being seriously injured and under heavy and sustained fire.
A Bronze Medal was awarded to 11 year old Joshua Stone of Melton in East Yorkshire who saved his friend from a savage dog by beating it off with a shovel in January 2008.
A Testimonial on Vellum was awarded to James Bunting of Derby who rescued a man from the River Derwent. He was 15 at the time of his brave deed in November 2007.
An In Memoriam testimonial was presented to Ann Daw from Herefordshire, whose husband Michael had been killed in an attempt to rescue a man from a raging bull in March 2007.
