As a charity we depend on your generosity to help us recognise the bravery of people who go to the aid of others and may save life even though they may endanger their own.
You can support us in a several ways:
1. Gift Aid Scheme
If you are a UK tax payer, you can make your donation through the Gift Aid scheme. This allows us to claim back the Income Tax that you have already paid. This increases the value of your donation to us at no additional cost to you. If you would like to donate to us in this way, please complete the Gift Aid section on the form which you can download by clicking on the button below and send it to us with your cheque.
2. Standing Order
If you would like to donate to us on a regular basis, please complete the Standing Order details on the form available by clicking on the button below.
3. By becoming a Governor of the Society
The Royal Humane Society is run by a Committee who are the Trustees of the charity. However, there is an opportunity for those who are supporters of the Society to become a little more involved. Governors are invited to the Annual General Court, where they will meet Committee Members and fellow Governors as well as some of the Society’s medal award recipients. Governors’ name is printed in the Annual Report, of which they are sent a copy, in recognition of their generosity and interest. In other days, our Royal Charter stipulated a subscription of one guinea a year for Governor or ten guineas for a Life Governor. Unfortunately we now have to charge a little more, as follows:-
